સીતા દેવીની વાર્તા સ્થિતિસ્થાપકતા, નિશ્ચય અને સમુદાયના સમર્થનની પરિવર્તનશીલ શક્તિની વાર્તા છે. જ્ઞાની જીવિકા મહિલા સ્વ-સહાય જૂથમાં જોડાયા પછી, તેમને ત્રણ મહિનાની અંદર સમુદાય મોબિલાઈઝર (CM) તરીકે નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા, અને તેમને 750 રૂપિયાનું નાનું સ્ટાઈપેન્ડ મળ્યું.
She decided to start a small general store with an initial investment of Rs. 4,000-5,000. Over time, she expanded the business by taking a loan of Rs. 30,000 from her SHG and another Rs. 30,000 from her village organization. She invested a total of one Lakh into the store, stocking it with a variety of goods, including festival-specific items. In addition to running the store, Sita Devi continues her role as a CM, earning Rs. 4,750 per month.
Today, her monthly earnings range from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000, allowing her to provide a better life for her children and her Family.
