The SHG members who are unable to manufacture on their own or are unable to run their own business are majorly involved in trading activities. They Purchase the Products from wholesalers or from other SHGs and sell them in the potential markets.

Trading can be of three types:

1. Hawking: Buying and selling of bangles, cosmetics, ready-mades and vegetables.

2. Shop-based trading where a typical shop sells groceries of different types, vegetables, firewood, coal or footwear.

3. Buying grains from farmers and selling it to wholesalers.

4. Making Bakery items, eatable foods and serving them and also making Handloom Thread and Sanitary Napkins etc.
