Scope of partnership:

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) is associated with Ministry of Rural development to provide support for learning and generating evidence on improving farm, off farm and non-farm related outcomes in agriculture and Rural Livelihoods. The major areas of support are:

• Development of local market systems for rural produce, product packaging and labelling for rural produce, technology for local value addition, drudgery reduction and improved efficiency, application of digital technology, system integration for improved information collection and performance monitoring, strengthening approaches for diversification of livelihoods.
• They will also support NRLM for integrating Health & Nutrition (H&M) as a key program component to improve overall quality of life.
