Lakhpati Didi Journey :
Anita Sahu has joined Nari Shakti Self-Help Group and travelled the journey of becoming Lakhpati Didi by showing hard work and strong faith.
After joining Self Help Group, Anita works as a Financial Literacy Community Resource Person (FI.CRP). After that she did bank linkage activities for her village. She took a Community Investment Fund (CIF) loan of Rs. 1,50,000 and started the work of making fly ash bricks and also added 3 members of her group and gradually expanded her work.
Due to increased demand in the market, she has taken a loan from PMFME for purchasing the brick machine to increase manufacturing work. After that her production got increased by installing bigger machines. She is providing employment to herself as well as to the other people of the village by manufacturing approx. 10 thousand bricks every day and earning Rs. 50,000 per month.
She has created a story of women empowerment and success by becoming a successful entrepreneur in her field.
