Birkurwar Laxmibai from Gundala Gonduguda Village, Narnoor Block/Mandal has started food proceeding unit in Gundala Gondguda Village, Narnoor Mandal, Adilabad District in Telangana. She is member of Sri Ganesh Self Help Group, She has taken training under Food processing Unit and had thought to become Individual entrepreneur to support her family and also provided employment to the two other members also.
She attended Group meeting and discussed about Food Processing and got Loan approval for supporting her under activity Individual. She has taken a loan Rs. 2.25 lakh from Bank. She purchased few machines and started her business in village. Due to this, her production and sale got increased to 15 items i.e. spices, chilli powder, turmeric Powder and millets. Her monthly income rises 18,000 per month.
The business entity name is Laxmi Foods and registered under Food Act. She also supports another group members by providing work in the unit. They were also getting Rs. 5000 (per each member) monthly salary.
