Before joining the Aajeevika Mission, Manisha and her husband faced severe financial challenges, traveling from village to village on a bicycle to sell ready-made garments like sarees, petticoats, salwar suits, and children’s frocks. However, with support from the mission, she expanded her business and began selling various types of garments and accessories in neighbouring villages. This growth has led to increased income and stability for her family. With the support of Aajeevika Mission, Manisha’s income has grown from Rs. 5,500 to 16,800 per month. She purchased a scooter to ease her mobility and is now able to provide her children with quality education. She also secured a loan of Rs. 2 lakh through the Self-Help Group, which she used to build a permanent shop, stocking it with goods worth Rs. 1-2 lakh. With a thriving daily sales rate, she expresses gratitude to Aajeevika Mission, which has helped her achieve self-reliance.
