Before joining the Self Help Group, Renu Yadav’s economic condition was very uncomfortable. However, after becoming a part of the group under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), her life took a positive turn.
She became very active within the Self Help Group and she started a small milk dairy with three animals by securing loans from both banks and the Self Help Group under NRLM. Her hard work and determination paid off, and she now owns 25 animals, earning an impressive Rs. 1 lakh per month from her dairy business.
In addition to her personal success, She has made remarkable contributions to social mobilization, encouraging other poor women to join Self Help Groups under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). She has also played a crucial role in motivating Self Help Group women to participate in vaccination drives and other initiatives such as plantation drives and ensuring coverage of Self Help Group members under various insurance schemes.
