Manibala Das’s transformative journey commenced with her involvement in the Self-Help Group (SHG) and the IFC project, which provided her with crucial financial assistance and technical knowledge.
Initially confronted with challenges in managing activities and starting up due to a lack of knowledge, Manibala decided to pivot, marking a turning point in her path. Engaging in a series of training sessions, particularly in organic farming, she showcased remarkable commitment and adaptability, resulting in impressive outcomes. Her annual income has experienced a significant surge, reaching Rs. 1,60,000, a remarkable 20% increase.
This financial upliftment has empowered Manibala to make meaningful investments in her children’s education, securing a brighter future for her two sons, who are currently studying in class 1 and class 10. Presently, her monthly income stands at Rs. 13,300, reflecting the positive impact of her dedication, newfound knowledge, and strategic engagement with the SHG and IFC project.
