After joining Self Help Group, Aruna had the skill to handle and run Self Help Group on her own and she was appointed as a BC where she did all kinds of work regarding Self Help Group belonging to her branch. Her trajectory took a transformative turn with her association with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), leading her to secure a loan of Rs.1.5 Lakh to establish her animal. This entrepreneurial endeavor not only boosted her confidence but also honed her skills as a businesswoman. Expanding her ventures, Aruna ventured into agriculture and animal husbandry, contributing to her monthly income. Animals in her native village, but she also played a pivotal role in the local agricultural ecosystem by supplying ducklings to other farmers. Anita’s success story is a testament to the empowerment facilitated by Self Help Groups and National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), as she now enjoys a monthly income of Rs. 35,000 showcasing the tangible results of her determination and entrepreneurial spirit.
