Ilaben Thakor is associated with Sakhi Mandal Yojana. After joining the Group, She received a loan of Rs. 50,000 cash credit from the bank in Sakhi Mandal then got a cash credit of Rs. 2,30,000, using this fund, she started a banana wafer unit that employed all the members of Self Help Group.
She also has gone through the training to become BC Sakhi in the Central Bank of India which helps running the house and also meeting the expenses of her family. She has been getting a good incentive after providing the banking service to the villagers at door step. She got a chance to interact with the honourable prime minister of India, it was a matter of great joy for him to join the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) scheme.
