Mrs. Jesilia A Sangma, a resident of South West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. After joining the group she has obtained various training on skill development and marketing strategy, after joining the Self Help Group, she has been provided working capital of Rs. 20,000 from the Community Investment Fund (CIF) fund as initial support. She has engaged herself in Food Processing (Pickle, jam, squash, candy, juice, fruits wine etc.) and selling her value addition products in local market, food exhibition etc and additionally, she has obtained Rs. 1 Lakh from the Prime Hub. With this capital, she has expanded her Food Processing business and through her business she started earning Rs. 30,000 per month. She has transformed herself into a successful entrepreneur and earned herself the title of “ Lakhpati Didi” under the guidance and hand holding support of DAY-NRLM.
