Smt. Rekha joined theSelf Help Groupunder Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission and had gone through the training Program, facilitated by the MSME in Ambala. To further extend her business plans, she secured a loan of Rs. 18 lakhs from MSME.
With the loan, she established a Soya product unit at her home in her village. Her unit manufactures various Soya-based products such as Soya Paneer, Soya Milk, Soya Curd, Soya Lassi, Soya Biscuit, Suji Soya, Soya Protein Powder. 5 Self Help Group members are working with alongside Smt. Rekha, contributing to both the production and distribution process.
She extended her business by starting a canteen near the old court in Bilaspur. Now her products are well-received in the local market of Bilaspur, Sadhaura, local highway Dhabas and milk dairies. Now she earns approximately Rs. 50000/- per month.
Beyond her business ventures, Smt. Rekha serves as a Bank Correspondent (BC) for the Central Bank of India, facilitating banking services in her community. She is also active samooh sakhi and CRP, further her contribution to community development.
